About the Book

Crossover Dribble shares the story of Joe whose life revolves around basketball.  Joe’s dream is to crack the starting five and by attending a premier basketball camp, his skills should be honed for the challenge.  But a tragic accident turns Joe’s world upside down.  His family needs him to step up and help his elderly grandfather manage the farm.  When the workload proves to be too much, a hired hand joins them - a Hispanic boy who also is the star player on the high school basketball team.

Crossover Dribble is a “faction book” combining “facts” and “fiction.” The author weaves a great storyline set in the rural Midwest about Joe and his struggles to make the starting lineup - the fiction - along with actual basketball drills that can improve a reader’s game - the facts. 

The rural scenes depict a changing lifestyle as technological advancements continue to influence productivity and make farming more efficient and challenging for small family farmers.
